Frameless cabinets drop the face frame, so the doors mount straight to the box. You get wider openings, more storage in the same space and a clean, continuous run of doors. We sell five finishes at wholesale pricing, direct from Bolingbrook.
Five frameless finishes, two lines
The Classic Line is our woodgrain group, for warmth without a traditional door. The Deluxe Line is our flat matte and gloss group, built on a higher-spec door for modern work.

One thing to plan for
Frameless is less forgiving of walls that are not square. Shim carefully and check the run before you hang doors.
How our frameless cabinets are built
Frameless is a different build from our shaker line, engineered around the full-access box.
- Doors
- European frameless design, full overlay. Classic Line doors have a durable melamine surface with matching 1.3mm PVC edge banding.
- Deluxe doors
- Engineered furniture board. The MDF option has an 18mm core, a 0.45mm PET laminate face and 1.3mm PVC laser edge banding for a seamless edge with no visible glue line.
- Cabinet box
- 3/4 inch (18mm) plywood sides with toe kick, and a 1/4 inch (6mm) back with reinforced top and bottom rails, joined with Confirmat connectors.
- Drawers
- Metal drawers with 90-degree sides and a 5/8 inch (16mm) plywood bottom and back, on a full-access, 6-way adjustable, soft-close system.
- Shelves
- 3/4 inch (18mm) plywood, fully adjustable.
- Hinges
- 6-way adjustable soft-close hinges, so doors can be lined up on site.
- Interior
- White melamine, or a textured melamine matched to the cabinet color.
- Warranty
- Limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship under normal use.

Common questions
What does frameless mean?
A frameless cabinet has no face frame across the front of the box. The doors mount directly to the cabinet sides, so the opening is the full width of the inside. It is often called European or full-access construction.
Do frameless cabinets hold more than framed cabinets?
In the same footprint, yes. Removing the face frame widens the opening and lets the drawer box run closer to the full inside width. There is also no center post to reach around in a double-door base cabinet.
Is Natural Oak or Walnut a veneer or solid wood?
Neither. The woodgrain is a durable melamine surface with matching PVC edge banding, over a plywood box. In a working kitchen that is an advantage: it will not fade in sunlight, lift at the edges or need refinishing.
Do gloss cabinets scratch or show fingerprints?
Gloss shows fingerprints more than matte. That is the trade-off for the light it puts back into the room. The laminate surface is hard-wearing and wipes clean with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner. Skip abrasive pads and scouring powders.
Can I get a handleless kitchen with these doors?
Yes. Flat frameless doors are what make edge pulls, a continuous channel or push-to-open hardware possible. Tell us before the order goes in, because the hardware choice affects how the run is laid out.
Can I mix frameless and shaker in the same kitchen?
Yes, and it looks good when it is planned. A walnut frameless island inside a white shaker kitchen is a popular example. Keep it to two finishes and give each one a clear role.
Can I use frameless cabinets for a commercial project?
Yes. We supply commercial cabinetry as well as residential. Send us the scope and we will quote it.
