Midnight Blue is a deep, cool navy with enough depth that it reads almost black in low light and unmistakably blue in daylight. It is the most-requested color in our Signature Line, and the one clients most often point at when they say they want the kitchen to have some personality without being loud about it.

Where Midnight Blue Works Best
Islands, first. A navy island inside a white perimeter is one of the most reliable kitchen layouts there is — it gives the room a center of gravity and photographs well, which matters on a spec build or a flip.
Lower runs with white uppers is the other standard move, and it makes a small kitchen feel taller. Beyond the kitchen, navy is a strong choice for butler's pantries, wet bars, mudrooms and bathroom vanities, where a full dark run is not overwhelming.
Living With a Dark Cabinet
Navy is more forgiving day to day than white. Splashes, fingerprints and light scuffing do not telegraph against a dark saturated color the way they do against a flat white. Pair it with brass or matte black hardware — both work, and they take the room in different directions.

How dark is it, really?

Dark. In a north-facing kitchen or under evening light it reads close to black. In direct daylight the blue is obvious. If the room has very little natural light, plan on it behaving like a dark neutral.
What hardware goes with navy?

Brass and gold tones give it a warmer, more traditional feel. Matte black keeps it modern and recessive. Chrome and nickel both work but read cooler.
Should I do the whole kitchen in it?

In a large, bright kitchen you can. In an average one, most people are happier with navy on the island or the base run and something lighter above.
